Illustrations for Upcoming Bar
We thought all our fondest dreams came true when we were hired to create a couple character illustrations for a monster-themed bar opening in 2021.
Thus were born The Ferryman and Lilith.

The Ferryman character responsible for bringing patrons to the bar via one of his many sweet rides. As part of the gig we also concepted a way for him to summon these vehicles via a blink of his left eye which would open a flaming gateway.

World meet Lilith. Lilith, world. She’s got a long history and deep mythology that needed to be considered and modernized for this illustration. Getting all the subtle (and not so subtle) tension correct throughout the image was an extremely enjoyable balancing act.

The original composition was a little tighter (still love the "fallen angel wings" created by her hair), but ultimately didn't carry enough swagger for the character.
